I write this post with mixed emotions. Due to numerous things going on in my life right now I've come to the conclusion that this is not the right summer for me to set out on a cross country biking journey. While I'm still eager to do this tour (and fully plan to go through with it in the future) I think it will just have to wait until things settle down a little.
Realistically, a lot has changed since I came up with the idea of biking across the country and started this blog. And, while I feel it's important to go through with what you've planned, it seems a little foolish of me to brazenly try to continue pursuing this ride when I have mounting evidence that it's not the right time.
So, I want to thank you all for following this blog while it existed. I'll continue to keep this blog up and running - but until I find the time to take the trip across the country it will likely lay dormant.
